    RESTAURANTS & FINE DINING

With Toronto being one of the most multi-cultural cities in the world one can find most any flavour (flavor) of food in the cityRestaurant experiences can range from the fast food chains that are widely available throughout the city to the independantly run fine dining salons who have reknown Chefs preparing the gourmet meals.  With the large selection of international restaurants you may discover that perfect fish and chips place. delicious pizza parlour (parlor), and or a cafe with superb coffee, tea or hot chocolat complete with a most tantalizing menu of deserts to select from. Whether you are looking for a quick snack, relaxing on a patio with a nice cool beverage, or an upscale environment providing dinner and dancing Toronto is a city with this and so much more.

    ENTERTAINMENT & NIGHT-LIFE

There is always something happening in Toronto.  Broadway-style shows, numerous theatre presentation, operas, concerts, events, expositions of most every sort, street parties and cultural festivals.  With the leadership of the 2015 Pan Am Games' CEO: Mr. Ian Troop encouraged that one of the goals and themes of the Games (and the time leading up to the Games) will be to celebrate our multicultural diversity of Toronto (and Ontario).  The entertainment aspects of Toronto does indeed reach into our unique cultural heritage.  In Toronto it is not unusual to find celebrations of many countries of origin happening all at the same time: e.g. World Cup Soccer has the city filled with cars waving their country of origins flags and one team wins pandemonium of those celebrating that culture overtakes the streets.  It is fun to watch and participate in.  The prominence of residents in Toronto representing most every country of the Americas will mean that when the competition of the 2015 Games do occur most every nation competing will have a naturalized cheering section rooting their Teams on to victory.

Night Life in Toronto is filled with fun and excitement.  An assortment of night clubs to serve most any style and often with many side by side in the various sectors of the city.  A note of caution though: our Cops are Tops which means we strongly advise that you don't plan to be intoxicated while driving your vehicle.  Our public transit system and especially the subway system in the downtown core is perfectly suited to get you to where you want to go.  Taxicabs are also in abundance and if upscale transportation is more your style there are ample limousines services for hire as well.  Currently liquor is served until 2 a.m. in the morning here yet perhaps for this and other festive events the city might extend these hours.  Perhaps for the Games we might even get the city to allow 24 hour night clubs.

    SIGHT-SEEING

Toronto as a major urban centre and metropolis has services of most every king including sight-seeing services.  While there are several bus tours companies operating in Toronto: amphibious hippo buses and double-decker buses, your mode of transportation can also include a taxi-cab, limousine, pedi-cabs and rickshaws.  Toronto is growing to become very pedestrian and bike friendly also so you can arrange tours of the city employing these modes of transportation.  With much information available you can even do a do-it-yourself sight-seeing tour.

    ATTRACTIONS IN TORONTO

From the Skypod of the CN Tower on can see over 50 kilometers into the distance on a clear day.  Looking down into the downtown core you will see so many attractions to serve you: the Art Gallery of Ontario with it's prized Group of Seven Collection, The Royal Ontario Museum, City Hall and Nathan Phillips Square flanked by Osgoode Hall and The Old City Hall on either side ... the list goes on and on and this is just within the downtown section of the City.  We even have a castle in the city: Casa Loma.  In terms of Zoos (apart from Yonge Street when one of the Toronto sports teams wins their leagues championship) there are several smaller ones and the world reknown Metro Toronto Zoo on the city's northeastern perimeter.  Toronto hosts many street festival-like parties and many cultural events happening throughout the year.  Many of these festivals have been created to celebrate unique and diverse aspects of the City's diversity in culture and geographic areas.  In a sense these events, like the structured physical properties or attractions (e.g. the underground shopping path and Ontario Place), have become attractions to which the locals inhabitants and visitors to the city throng to.  Of course our numerous professional sports teams and their facilities must also be considered as attractions.  In Toronto there is no shortage of things to do and places to visit and it's here for everyone to discover.
